Photography for me is more than just taking pictures. It is the first interest I've had that makes me get out and see a bit more of the world with my eyes open!

Most of the pictures I post are taken in Yorkshire, England and are of mixed quality. I share them in the hope that people may get pleasure from them, and in the event that they dont, can tell me why and help me to continue improving.
I do feel that photography is a way of expressing emotion. Feeling. Not just about producing images that adhere to the rules of photography. This is a concept I try hard implement in every shot I take, and though I genuinely feel I have limited success, I aim to improve!

Is the equipment a photographer uses that important? It's great to be able to capture clear, detailed and sharp images, but the thing I aim for is to demand an emotional response from the viewer. Let me know if I manage it!
